ALL SMILES!

Mommy finally snapped a shot of Prestyn with one of her heart melting smiles this morning! Since Mother's Day we partied at Tom Burgess' surprise 30th birthday and Prestyn received her two month set of shots...OUCH! During the check up the pediatrician noted that Prestyn had ridges along the coronal sutures of her skull, an indication that her skull plates may be fusing together prematurally. This is a condition referred to as "Craniosynostosis," causing extreme pressure on the brain resulting in mental impairment, disfigurement, and possible death if not treated. Daddy received the call from Mommy while at work that she and Prestyn were on their way to Childrens Hospital for X-Rays and a further examination. The pediatrician made it clear that the X-Rays were a preventative and precautionary step, confirming whether or not Prestyn may have Craniosynostosis. The past 3 days have been the longest of our lives since the arrival of our beautiful little girl. At approximately 1:00pm today Daddy got the call from Mommy that everything was O.K. and that Prestyn has simply inherited her Daddy's "Bonehead" characteristics! Sorry peanut...my bad!
